Aotus

Aotus is the solo project of songwriter and producer Caroline Borup Jensen. Blending elements of synthpop and experimental electronic, the music explores themes of self-reflection, relationships, and emotional contrast through dreamy synths, heavy basslines, and introspective lyrics.

In a world of soft surrealism and subjective memory, Aotus creates an atmospheric and vibrant space where vulnerability and abstraction coexist. Inspired by the contrasts between nature, humanity, technology, and city life, the thematic landscape is both personal and fragmented — aiming above all to evoke a distinct mood and invite listeners to feel, reflect, and immerse themselves in layered sound.
