Barry is the indie-folk project of Danish singer-songwriter Jonatan Csonka, exploring the space between sorrow and serenity.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Bon Iver, Emilie Nicolas and Saveus, Barry combines playful melodies and airy, gospel-inspired harmonies with lyrics that deal with life’s heavier moments.
The songs grow out of personal experiences, but leave room for listeners to find their own meaning in them. With one foot in melancholy and the other in something a little more lighthearted, Barry tries to make sense of the everyday chaos of being human.
