Fat Tiger
FAT TIGER is a new name on the Danish music scene, formed in 2025 by seasoned musicians from the city of Odense. With roots spanning everything from metal and hardcore to garage and ska, the band brings a fresh and unexpected edge to the ska/reggae genre.
Driven by a powerful female lead vocal, a rhubarb-coloured slap-delay guitar, fully rotating organ/keys, a deep bass carrying subtle traces of something more abrasive, and a tight rhythm section — but notably no horns — FAT TIGER creates a sound that is uplifting, playful and unpretentious, while still carrying a darker undertone and a touch of the theatrical. The lyrics move beyond the clichés often associated with the genre, giving the music a distinct identity of its own.
