Hilal Kaya

Hilal Kaya, a Turkish singer, composer, and guitarist, is originally from Denmark. In 2014, she collaborated with Anadolu rock legend Haluk Levent on an album. Since 2018, she has been working with the supergroup Kalaha(DK).
The albums they released with the group featured Turkish psychedelic, funk, and Anatolian rock elements. In their most recent album, *Tutku*, Kalaha and Hilal Kaya were accompanied by the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, and the album was nominated in four categories at the Danish Music Awards (DMA). Currently, Hilal Kaya continues to work with Kalaha while also starting to make music under her own name.
