Laurits Duer’s debut single “Idyllisk Fuglestøj” is a composition that combines improvisation, cool/strange sounds from his pedals and a strong melodic core – a sound that in his opinion is rooted in both the freedom of jazz and the atmospheric mood. The sounds in the track is inspired by the un-fine and beautiful forms of nature - a forest of peace, puzzles and imagination. “The name of the single came from the fact that I wrote the theme in my garden, where there was such a beautiful bird chirping - subsequently I have tried to imitate the sound with my delay pedal."

Laurits Duer is currently working on an EP.
