merphi

merphi is a Danish artist and songwriter based in Stockholm, merging visceral songwriting with glitchy, distorted textures, guitar-driven melancholy and traces of the alternative music she grew up with.

On her debut EP morphing into you, set for release in fall 2026, merphi explores identity loss, codependency and the intensity that shapes her relationships and experience of the world: the ways she adjusts to other people to be loved, to belong, or to be easier to hold onto - and the parts of herself that dissolve in the process.

Ahead of its release, songs from morphing into you have already found their way onto New Music Friday Denmark and received support from Danish music media including Puls., BEAT and Bands of Tomorrow, as well as airplay on UK radio.
