Raw Umbra

Raw Umbra is a rock band from Copenhagen. It consists of Michael Holt on vocals and guitar, Krisztián Tóth on bass, and Alexander Noordegraaf on drums.

An incessant current washes away our dreams, drowns our souls and breaks our bonds. Everything is sold, marked for the directionless purpose of constant meaningless growth. The soil grows poorer, souls grow distant and weary, minds grow dull and pliant. The current of growth gets stronger every passing day. It washes away all that was once human, it is a ruthless monster, a killer without a conscience, and it seeps into the dreams of those too tired to resist. It creates an empire of rubble, which crumbles around us further every day. We must have compassion for those left in its merciless wake.
True resistance is born from compassion.
