Danish singer/songwriter based in Copenhagen.

Behind the name "The Victim" you find the Danish singer and songwriter Kenneth Nefling, who since 2014 has played both small and large stages.

Prior to that, Kenneth Nefling had performed in various bands, where he had served as lead singer and guitarist, but when he wrote the song "All I See…" in 2013 and introduced the song for his then band, he could feel that he was in a time of change where inspiration led him away from the alternative rock that up to that point had dominated the musical expression.

After surrendering to the newly found inspiration, songwriting began to take off, and soon there were enough songs to go out and do concerts. But before that Kenneth Nefling went to Aarhus to record a few demos with producer and guitarist Søren Zahle (Peter Sommer, Jacob Dinesen and others).

Kenneth Nefling could not afford a hotel room and therefore spent the night on the floor in the studio.
