The Ice is Melting at the Pøules / We Are Melting Dot Art / Legacy Of Melt - collections of immersive light and sound experiences, collaboratively created with scientists and artists worldwide, forms the foundation of this global art project. Through site-specific installations and immersive concerts in urban and non-city spaces, it shares vital climate research, engaging hearts and minds towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and UN Global Climate Goals.

Each new artwork, grounded in the latest scientific findings, fosters continuous exploration and evolution.

The title alludes to the statement made by former Danish Foreign Minister Villy Søvndal, "The ice is melting at the pøules." It highlights the importance of focusing on the alarming consequences of global warming, rather than getting distracted by the Minister's unfortunate pronunciation that amused the world back in 2009 and overshadowed the message itself. This comment sheds light on how the climate agenda is often sidelined as the media focuses on trivial matters like a Minister's English pronunciation.

There is a tendency to prioritize personal attacks rather than addressing the real issue at hand. The climate crisis is far too serious for such distractions. By utilizing art as a medium, The Ice is Melting at the Pøules aims to disrupt this pattern and bridge the gap between the general population, politicians, researchers, and the media.
