You To The Moon explores the line between acoustic and electronic music forming evocative lyrical songs with playful electronic beats.

Pelle Fridell (saxophone) and Jakob Sørensen (trumpet) both come from a jazz background but grew up with the Scandinavian psalm tradition becoming a big part of their musical language. In this duo they extend their nordic heritage with an electronic pallet of sounds.

Pelle Fridell is a Swedish producer, saxophonist, jazz musician and electronic artist based in Copenhagen. He has released 7 solo albums, always striving to find new aspects to his music.
He has worked and performed with a spectrum of influential artists such as Toots Thielemans, Randy Brecker, Sir Charlie Watts, Tom Waits, Ivan Lins and Angelique Kidjo.

Jakob Sørensen has truly cemented his name on the Scandinavian Jazzscene. He has 5 critically acclaimed records to his name, and is an award winning trompetier.
With a sound inspired by the nature of his upbringing in the northern Denmark, Jakob Sørensen’s music has a hint of melancholia and a tone compared to luminaries like Nils Petter Molvær and Tomas Stańko.”
