Acacía, the emerging voice of dream Afro pop, is poised to enchant listeners worldwide with her unique blend of dream pop, dancehall, and Afro-pop. Her mother is Danish and her father is Rwandan father who met in South Africa in 2001. Acacía’s upbringing was a true fusion of cultures. Raised in Denmark in a rich afro music environment and immersed in classical music at school, her diverse musical foundation is the heartbeat of her sound. Today, she lives in Rwanda, where her music reflects her mission to connect people globally through the universal language of love and music.
Her debut single, Princess Treatment, recorded at Wao Collective Studios in Copenhagen, is the first of a series of exciting releases planned for this year and early next year. The track brings together the expertise of Fancy Fingers from Sauti Sol and the guidance of Danish R&B legend Remee, resulting in a fresh pop anthem that captures Acacía’s distinctive style and soulful voice.
