What Is Premature Ejaculation?

To say that premature ejaculation is common might be an understatement. One study conducted by the Mayo Clinic and published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine (ISSN: 1079-8297) found that 59% of the men surveyed had experienced some form of ejaculatory trouble at least once in their lives. Of these men, about half did not ejaculate before they were sexually aroused and about a third did so within 15 minutes of reaching orgasm. This means that 1 out of every 3 men have some sort of “premature ejaculation” problem at least once in their lifetime.
People with premature ejaculation know how to make things go faster, but they know how to make it harder too — which explains why they still get frustrated, depressed and even suicidal.
