Left-Handed Favour, established in 2022, is a Copenhagen-based electronic duo consisting of MortenY and defnez.
When Left-Handed Favour's debut single aired on Danish Broadcast Radio's DR P3 Vidundergrunden, the radio host described their sound as a "chiptuny-blip-bloppy thing on top of a club thing." Encapsulating the genre-defying nature of their music.
Their sonic palette is a tapestry of House, Techno, Drum & Bass, Garage, and Lounge, interwoven with influences drawn from Dub, Trip-hop, and Hip-hop.
These diverse influences resonate with the duo's musical inspirations, such as Mr. Oizo (notably the track "Flat Beat") and the group Röyksopp (especially the album "Melody A.M.").

"Never More Than You Can Carry (Extended Edit)" and "Cyclops Blink (Extended Edit)" found a place in the airplay rotation on Dash Discover, further amplifying their reach. "Cyclops Blink - Extended Edit" even earned a spot in the rotation on SmashHaus Radio, also featured on Dash Radio, the world's largest all-digital influencer radio network.
